Drugs are often talked about as the worst form of abuse with binges on cocaine, crack cocaine and worst of all heroin. However alcohol is legal to buy and ruins lifes just like drugs do. A close friend of my family is an alcoholic and its scary and upsetting to watch some one drive there self into the ground with this bad behaviour. I think it is disgrace full that local shops know he is an alcoholic and still sell him booze drunk or not. Drugs are illegal because of the repurcussions and the risk in lifes, however alcohol not consummed in the right manner is ust as damaging. I think for known alcoholics they should not be servered any alcohol, and the goverment should make it harder, just as it is with drug abuse.
